| REKA - a success story with great opportunities in the future! |
At the beginning there was just an absolutely new and ecologically valuable technology in the cleaning field. In order to help this technology to achieve the break-through, René Beyrer founded the company REKA in 1985. With the start of a high-quality, at the same time environmentally friendly cleaning glove, the first step was made; soon further successful REKA products were launched.
Already the initial feedback from the market showed that the REKA products met the highest customer expectations. The product promise "REKA and water, nothing else" was created at a time of growing environmental awareness and resulted in a positive echo. The success of the REKA products and the rise of the business volume resulting from it, led REKA at the beginning of the 90's under the leadership of René Beyrer to the "passing lane".
From the beginning REKA's guiding principle was "quality ahead quantity", with the result that REKA, after more than 20 years on the market, has a comprehensive quality management system in place. Today it can be said that the quality does not only refer to REKA's products, it is an important part of REKA's corporate philosophy. An important component in the strategy was added in 1991. "Multi Level Marketing" (MLM), which was unknown in Switzerland at that time. MLM allowed REKA's advisors to pinpoint individual customer's needs and guarantee optimal advice.
Within a few years REKA grew from a "one man show" into a medium size enterprise. Today REKA has well over one million satisfied customers and a team of highly motivated advisers. Time became ripe for a generation change: Mid 2007 René Beyrer transferred the business to the second generation. With new ideas and products Philip Beyrer now handles the business.
Since the relocation of the operation from Allschwil to Pratteln the new slogan is "more customer focus". The new product presentation "world of REKA themes" has boosted sales. Innovative, new products helped to streamline the product range. And clever sales promotions added to the buying fun. A new logistics system shortens the delivery time. With new drive and motivation, the entire REKA team ensures that more REKA products will find the way to ever more households. |
